Mould design & engineering
The technical department is staffed with highly qualified personnel and has the best sector-specific computer tools: the Unigraphics NX6 program with the Mold Wizard package in the CAD system and the SUM 3D by CIM System in the CAM system, linked to 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
Giussani Stampi is able to start with the Client's idea: the technical team takes a sketch and creates a 3D model, the drawings and all of the necessary views to reach an operative method for directing the tooling machinery and, if requested, can also make rapid prototypes and resin models. On the other hand, starting with a real object, the department can apply reverse engineer to the item in order to mathematically reconstruct it and design the corresponding mould.
Thanks to its solid experience and continuous commitment towards obtaining technological excellence, Giussani Stampi is able to offer a service for any type of need: moulds of various sizes, mono and multi-stamping developed in 2D o 3D modelling. Depending on the Customer requirements the company can make different injection types: hot runner or plate, hot nozzle, with gas and with automatic unscrewing of the thread.
During the entire design phase, the Customer is guaranteed access to the technical office and, if necessary, can modify the mould in real time in order to rapidly and effectively solve any emergency situation that may arise.
Mould construction
The construction department works in a continuous cycle to make moulds optimized on the basis of the productive stress that will undergo during operation and conceived to fully satisfy the development of the product in order to assure higher productivity over time.
The workshop is composed by die-sinking and wire spark erosion machines, 3 and 5 axis machines of the latest generation, a micro-punch and a machine for making deep holes, finishing edges, pantographs, traditional milling machines and a CNC mould testing machine.
In addition to constructing the moulds, this department also handles the after-sales assistance and maintenance of items produced by the company, to offer the Client a better guarantee of quality and efficiency over time. For the same reason, every mould is scrupulously tested in-house before being delivered and, if requested by Customer, it can stay in the company to be mass produced.
