PLASTIC IS A FRIEND OF THE ENVIRONMENT

We tell the children about our job and explain to them that whoever does our job is not an enemy of the environment. And that even plastic is not the enemy of the environment. We are all enemies of the environment when we do not dispose of it properly and abuse it, none excluded. The same applies to electricity, water, paper, meat, money, life itself. Giving up on plastic is impossible. To demonstrate this we ask the children to look around and find objects made of plastic: already in class there are a lot of them and everyone raises their hand.

Because plastic is a material with a thousand qualities: it is as ductile as clay but it is not fragile; it is as resistant as metal but it is light; it performs many of the functions of wood and paper without deteriorating over time. We explain to the children that in the company we recycle 100% of the waste plastic … even the caps of the bottles that we drink every day … and nothing turns into waste. All the plastic scrap is ground in the company or delivered to external partners for regeneration and future reintroduction on the production market. We tell children that plastic is a lifeless material, a tool in our hands and we make it a weapon when we use it badly and we dispose of it worse.

At the end of our little lesson, we give everyone a blue fish made of recycled plastic that reminds the children that behind every gesture of which plastic is the protagonist, positive or negative, there is always a man or woman who can choose right or wrong action.
